AME NO SHITA glass plate - light

Designed by a Japanese design studio "wa/ter" and handcrafted in Japan.

This is  from wa/ter's “Re-use - Recycling” series that transforms ordinary objects and converts them into beautiful design objects for the home.

This piece was inspired by a shape of reminiscent of a single drop of water resting on a leaf. The name, AME NO SHITA, inspired by the Japanese character for "drop /shizuku" (雫), which shows under the rain.
