The Beauty of Small Differences

Everything we choose, from incense and candles to glass and lacquerware, is made by hand. In KISSUL and wa/ter, you can see that hand in the finished piece: the faint sweep of a lacquer brush, a bubble or ripple held inside recycled glass. We do not see these marks as flaws. They show how an object was made and make the one you bring home feel personal.

Perhaps that is why these pieces stay with us. They remind us that difference is not a flaw, or something to compare. It is something to notice, respect, love and care for—in the objects we live with, and in ourselves.
